The site of the school is an ex-factory - “Faema”. Here world renowned coffee machines were produced from the 1920’s. The project to develop and renovate the premises was headed up by the architects Mutti and Pichler and is a work of art in itself and definitely worthwhile visiting. Today around the school a vast network of important contemporary art galleries, design studios, handicraft workshops and show rooms have multiplied. The editing of famous magazines like ‘Abitare’ is based in the area. There is a radio station, a specialist arts and graphics bookshop great for checking out all the international publications and magazines.
